BIG NEWS!  CDTC has moved to a new location!

3440 Torrey Road, Flint MI 48507

January classes coming soon! | Four Rally Trials in January!

After over a decade at our Holiday Drive location, we have moved to a larger building with central air.  Same convenient area, off Bristol Road at the US-23 exit.

For over 50 years, Companion Dog Training Club has been the place for dog training in the Flint area.

We are a club, a group of over 120 dog lovers whose passion is working with our dogs and sharing with others some of the “mysteries” of dog training. Our training facility is unique with our 9,000 square foot building that is used exclusively for dog training.

Our instructors, who are also club members, have years of training and teaching experience to help you teach your “best friend” many different skills.

  • Your dog could be a great member of your family
  • Compete in obedience, rally, agility, conformation or nose-work
  • Become a therapy dog

So, if you have a dog that is between 12 weeks of age on up and would like to work on household behaviors or are thinking maybe you would like to learn new fun things to do with your dog, please consider talking to us.

  • The first training class was held at “Homestead Hall” September 11, 1961.
  • The club held it’s first match September 22, 1963.
  • The entry fee for our first match was $1.25 /dog and 50 cents for a second entry.
