We will be offering these testing opportunities for you and your dog:

Canine Good Citizen test is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club.

AKC Community Canine is the advanced level of AKC’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program.  As with CGC, AKC Community Canine has a 10-step test of skills that dogs must pass to earn the official AKC Community Canine title. This is a title that appears on the dog’s title record at AKC.  Dogs must already have a Canine Good Citizen title and be AKC registered in order to take this test.

AKC Trick Dog tests are for any dog that is AKC registered.  Having a Canine Good Citizen title will count as 5 tricks for your Novice Trick Dog Title.  Tricks are a great way to bond with your dog.  Tricks help improve your dog’s overall obedience, manners, muscle tone, stamina, flexibility, balance, concentration, and confidence.  They provide you with yet another useful way to channel your dog’s energy into something positive.

The UKC SPOT program consists of 10 separate testing stations. At each station, the dog must perform a basic exercise. These exercises are used to demonstrate that the dog is capable of exhibiting desired behaviors that the general public would expect to see in a well-behaved dog. The dog will receive a rating at each station, varying from “Outstanding” to “Needs Practice”.
